If you’re anything like me you are tired of hearing the paranoia and propaganda related to COVID-19. As a public health and psychological professional, I understand the severity of this concern and the need to be informed and engaged in good health and social hygiene. However, I also know that care and grace has to be intentionally given to ourselves as we try to simply persist and survive through the anxiety and fear of this global crisis.
Here, I offer a few tips for how to find peace and promote positive health behaviors at the individual level for us to endorse in effort to 1) regain control of our health and well-being and 2) maintain our physical, mental, and emotional health.
