JUST DO IT!
Wellness is what you make it. It doesn’t require spending lots of money or any more for that matter. It is about understanding the things that bring you joy and peace and doing it regularly. There are a wide range of activities that fall within the wellness space. However, mindfulness and intention are what take simple acts from the “ordinary” to “transformative” as it relates to wellness. Here are a few ideas of things you can do to create or add to your wellness routine:
1. Go for a walk around the block first thing in the morning – during this walk meditate and visualize your day. set an intention then seal it with a positive affirmation
2. Establish a morning skincare routine that includes washing your face, and applying toner, serum/treatment, eye cream, moisturizer and spf. Add a rose quartz roller to really make this luxurious
3. Prepare a meal the includes water and lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts, and a little sweet treat
4. Speak your mind (respectfully of course)
5. Say no (and let that be the end of the sentence).
6. Complete an online workout video at least 30 mins in length (the Nike training club app is great)
7. Read a book
8. Journal for 15 minutes every night before bed.
